The Ultimate Super Fudge Brownies
Decided to bake a batch of Mrs. Field’s Super Fudge Brownies as pasalubong since I had time to kill before we left after lunch. I’ve had her cookie book since I was in 5th grade but it was the first time I tried her brownie recipe. I tweaked it a bit by replacing unsweetened chocolate with darksweet chocolate and reducing the white sugar by half a cup. I also added 2 extra ingredients I learned from the Barefoot Contessa, Ina Garten to make it even more fudgy - 2 tbsp freshly brewed coffee (added to the wet ingredients) and 1 tbsp coffee granules (added after dumping in the flour). It turned out unbelievably fudgy and delicious that I’m definitely going to make this again and again! Sooo yummy!
