This is my ode to Real Coffee Boracay’s calamansi muffins because I had to cancel our trip this week (you know, have to recover and all). So sad, booked our flights as early as March :( Anyway, good luck to all of the finalists in this year’s Kidlat Awards, especially to Gary and team HayMen! Winners to be announced tonight. Had disaster after disaster in the kitchen yesterday for some reason. This is the result of one of them, which zooey super loves! Funny how accidents can sometimes lead to pure awesomeness :D

So I had to make up for the lunch Gar didn’t like (see previous post), as well as take out the lingering smell of grilled fish in the apartment. Baked 2 batches of these yummy babies, which we are currently enjoying with freshly-brewed black coffee. Job well done :) Happy Sunday afternoon everyone!
