Crispy bulalo steak with caramelized onions, baked potatoes and cabbage soup
Gary wanted bulalo for dinner but I wasn’t really up to having something soup-y again after the sinigang we had last night. So I crisped up the beef shanks after pressure cooking it and baked the potatoes, and just served the soup stock and cabbage on the side. Was happy that Gar was pleasantly surprised with my experiment and even said it could be a top chef contender hehe! :) my deconstructed take on an old Pinoy favorite :)
